Bedroom is a part of your house which is private or exclusive. This room is actually for you to take a rest after the tiresome days. The atmosphere of this private room must give you relaxing feeling. Your private room should be convenient all night long. However, your bedroom sometimes is not only functioned as your relaxing room in which you can sleep. Some people also put their desk, books, and computer in the room. Meaning to say, they sometimes take a small area to work or study in the bedroom. Why is the lighting important? Of course, each room needs lighting arrangement which let you to see the things clearly in the room. 1. Day Lighting
It is good that you provide windows in your bedroom. You can open the window to get some sunlight from outside. If your windows are made of glass, you do not necessarily open them. You can just simply drag the curtains to let the light in. The point is that you have enough light that enables you to see all things clearly in the room. This lighting idea actually saves energy. You don’t need to turn on lamps in the afternoon.
2. Evening Lighting
You sometimes study in your bedroom. If there is no more sunlight which gives enough lighting, you can put a bright lamp on your desk or on the ceiling. You also need the position of the lamp. You have to make sure that your shadow will not block your vision while you are studying. The light should come from your front with appropriate edge. You can also put the lamp on the ceiling above in which the light will spread evenly.
3. Night Lighting
As its main function, bedroom is for sleeping. When you sleep, it’s better to use low-light lamp. You can put the lamp away from your sleeping position. It is because our eyes will easily to fall asleep when they are not exposed by light. You can also put the lamp beside your bedroom. Make sure that you turn off the bright lamp first before you sleep. Then, change it to the low-light lamp.
