Indeed! If you look back at my old blog called Post modern House 2 and Post modern house 2 updates, this house design can be seen there. This time it will soon be rising in the Queen City of the South, Cebu City, Philippines. The very obvious difference and distinction of this design is that the existing plot is sloping and has three levels. The first level is a two-car garage with its own stairs inside to the second level, which is the roof level of the garage. or can I call it a viewing level that leads to the main level. The land really challenges me because I’m not used to designing a house on a slope, but thank God I was able to create something that fits my client’s needs.
This house has four bedrooms, including a maid’s room. The master bedroom is spacious enough and has its own walk-in closet and bathroom. Each room has its own bathroom, including the assistant’s room. It also has a separate bathroom at the back of the house in the service area. It has a separate entertainment room accessed from the living room. One thing that makes this house unique is that we were able to utilize the area below the living room as a mini gym as part of the second level.
This size and dimensions four-bedroom residential house has a plot area of 375 square meters. This is the perfect pattern if you have a lot of similar sizes like this one.

A big part of moving to the mountains is realizing that you have to figure out how to build a steep slope. We all know the advantage of a mountain home is the view! When you buy land and start building on a steep slope, there are a few things you need to consider.
New Split Level Designs
This refers to the amount of area that may be disturbed. The reason for these restrictions is to prevent erosion and runoff. You’re likely surrounded by nature on your property, so it makes sense that you need to respect the surrounding foliage. This includes driveways, foundations, etc.
The purpose of the screening requirements is pretty much to “blend” the home into the natural landscape surrounding your property, while still getting a mountain view. This varies depending on which province you are building in.
A Geotech report is required for most hillside lots and mountain towns. This is another way to protect the landscape you plan to build on. This includes soil, leaves and also a way to protect your safety. Sometimes the property can be on fault lines, which can cause a huge problem in the future. A geotechnical report reduces geological hazards and provides the best design recommendations and standards.
