Everything, including the text, is backwards based on the original design. Note: Reverse mirror sets are only available with a set of 5 or 8 copies. With the Reproducible, PDF, or CAD set, you can print mirror copies at home. In addition: Choosing a 5 mirror set, should only be allowed to choose a 4 mirror set. 8 Copy set selection, should only allow 7 mirror set selections.

You may also need lumber that is sized to handle the weight of your particular roof. Your builder can usually help you with this. You may also need a clean design unless your drainage system provides it. Many areas now have specific regional energy codes that must also be followed. This usually involves filling out a simple form that provides documentation that your home plans are working.
In some areas, there is a second step you will need to take to make sure your home plans are up to code. Some regions of North America have strong engineering requirements. Examples of this would be, but not limited to, the earthquake prone areas of California and the Pacific Ocean, the hurricane risk areas of Florida, the Gulf & Carolina Coasts. New York, New Jersey, Nevada, and parts of Illinois require reviews from local experts as well. If you are building in these areas, you will likely need to hire a state licensed engineer to review the design and provide additional drawings and calculations required by your building department. If you are unsure, building departments usually have a certificate that will list all the things they need to submit and get a building permit.
Additionally, stock plans do not have a professional label attached. If your building department requires one, they will only accept a stamp from a licensed professional in the state where you plan to build. In this case, you need to take your home plans to a home engineer or designer for review and approval. Additionally, plans used to build homes in Nevada are required to be drawn by a licensed Nevada architect.
